Ask an Immigration Expert: Individual Consultations
Stop by the International House Leuven to receive a consultation about any questions you have regarding living and working in Belgium legally.
Practicalities
Come prepared with your questions and any supporting documents you need to explain your situation. The immigration expert will meet with attendees one-on-one on a first come, first served basis. Meaning that if you arrive and the consultant is already speaking with someone else, you can sit in the "waiting room" until it is your turn (a "take a number" system, if you will).
Our guest consultants are:
Karen Rastelli, an independent immigration expert from Into Belgium, who has been working in Belgium for over 20 years advising internationals in their immigration queries.
Massimo Maesen, a lawyer specialized in immigration from Expat Management Group dedicated to helping internationals find answers.
Chloé Dechanet from Anywr. Born and raised in France Chloé has been living in Belgium for 10 years and working as an immigration specialist since 2018. She speaks French, English, Spanish and Dutch.
Sergey Chernetskiy, founder of immigration agencies Arbeidskaart.be & Beroepskaart.be, has been living in Belgium since 2015. He works as an expert in workforce and business migration and speaks English, Ukrainian, Russian, Dutch.
No registration is required. Please come prepared with your questions and any documents that you think might be helpful in explaining your situation. As there may be people waiting after you, we foresee about 15 min per consultation.
